What AI Core is

AI Core is the inference and control layer inside Atomic AI. It decides how reasoning, drafting, refinement, and runtime responses are generated across the workspace.

It is designed to be local-first, with optional compatible remote execution when the operator wants external capacity.

Why it mattersMost tools bolt AI onto a product. Atomic AI puts AI Core inside the product state, so it can work with billing, memory, workflows, targets, and visibility signals directly. That gives the system a much stronger basis for planning, execution, and compounding memory.
What it connects toAI Core powers Atomic Lexy, create/refine lanes, workflow drafting, memory-aware responses, council recommendations, and parts of the security lane.It also feeds settings, routing posture, and tuning controls available to higher commercial tiers.
Why It Matters

Atomic AI pages should explain system intent clearly, not read like flat documentation.

This surface is part of the same operating story as the founder page, projects archive, learning packs, and dashboard. The design should feel like one serious product system all the way through.
